Hi all,

New to Maryland a couple of weeks ago. Decided to try to find some birding
sites in my new home county - Frederick, today. Followed the directions to
Harney Road Ponds from the MOS website. A very quick look revealed:
7 Great Egrets
1 Ring-necked Duck
1 Green-winged Teal
3 Pectoral Sandpipers
15+ Lesser Yellowlegs
20+ Solitary Sandpipers
several Killdeer, Spotted, Least and 1 or 2 Semi-palmated Sandpipers, although
I didn't scrutinize the peeps because I was uncertain of access and felt
uncomfortable hanging around. One of the access roads had a no trespassing
sign.

I'd be grateful if someone could let me know whether the landowners there are
OK with birders, it's definitely somewhere I'd like to keep checking for
shorebirds through the late summer and fall.
