This morning, a Robin chattering excitedly flew above my head and into the
branches of our Shadblow tree. Following relentlessly, at its tails end, was a
male Coopers.

The Robin swerved 'round in a sharp U turn, but just before emerging from the
Shadblow branches was caught by the talons of the hawk.

As the Coopers flew into the hedge row that borders our yard, the Robin's
sharp peeks and distress sounds ended quickly. The entire yard was silent.
