Dear All
A quite morning's birding in DC this morning.
Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens held three Snowy Egrets and two Spooted Sands of note - and no YC Night herons.
A Pirate Cruise from Alexandria yielded a few riverine species including foru Caspian and one Forster's Terns off the Alexandria waterfront. However, a distant view of the Hunting Creek mudflats hsowes a very tempting large group of terns - at least a couple of hundred birds - but only a few eere close enough to id, and all were Caspians. Looked worth a look though if anyone is in that area over the weekend.
Cheers
