Thursday morning I spotted a Blue-winged Warbler near the lime kilns at Cromwell Valley Park. This bird was probably an adult female - lots of yellow but not the vibrant yellow seen in Spring males. The eye line and wing bars were quite visible. The area along the lime kiln trail was very active. Here is a list of some of the more interesting birds seen:

Blue-Grosbeak - 1
Indigo Bunting - 1
Ruby Throated Hummingbird - 1
Red-eyed Vireo - 3
Cedar Waxwings - 4 or 5 juveniles
Carolina Wren - a pair of adults feeding a pair of young
House Wren - 1 attending a box
Baltimore Oriole - 2
Am. Redstart - 1 male , 2 females
Common Yellowthroat - 1 female
E. Bluebird - 6 to 8 juveniles
E. Kingbird - heard
