The American Bird Conservancy has sent out an alert calling for opposition to bills in Congress that would set back efforts to protect nesting shorebirds, terns, and turtles from off-road vehicles at Cape Hatteras National Seashore.  The Wilderness Society has set up a painless way to contact your representatives and senators, to express opposition to this bills.  Please give it consideration.  Piping Plovers and Least Terns will benefit.  See:
