Hi Everyone,

Upland Sandpipers continue at the Salisbury Airport. I counted 4 there today.

Later I visited the sod farm near Wright's Market on US 50 where Jim Brighton found an American Golden Plover yesterday. I ran into Mike Walsh there, and we enjoyed a nice group of shorebirds:

American Golden Plover--1
Killdeer--141
Spotted Sandpiper--1
Pectoral Sandpiper--6
Least Sandpiper--7

Also present at this sod farm were several Horned Larks and 3 Bank Swallows. Thanks, Jim!

Earlier Mike found 3 Baird's Sandpipers at the sod farm on Little Lane. I stopped there later in the afternoon but did not relocate the birds. To reach Little Ln from US 50: north on Memory Gardens Ln, north on Spring Hill Ln, east on Little Ln (upper right hand corner on p. 33 in DeLorme Atlas).

Have fun,
