FLYCATCHER



 Hi all  The Sunday Morning  walk   8 -17  08  of the Talbot County Bird
Club  at Tilghman Island  led by Jan  Reese  and attended by 6  birders
found  a immature  Olive - Sided Flycatcher  at Black Walnut Point.  A great
bird and viewers had good looks at the  white rump patches, the  big-headed
look  and the short tail. The flycatcher was harassed by a female  Blue
Grosbeak to  force it from its favorite perch in the top of a sapling oak.

Caspian  Terns
Great  Blue Herons 
Ospreys   (dozens) 
Bald  Eagle  2 adults  1 immatures
Cooper's Hawk 
Blue Grosbeak       several  including one  female in a bush near a male
Cardinal 
Cardinal (stunning views)
Barn Swallows   
Purple Martin 
R. T . Hummingbirds
Blue Jay  (rare for  here) 
Carolina Chickadee 
Tufted Titmouse   (Rare  here) 
White-breasted Nuthatch 
Black-and-White Warbler
Pine Warbler   several 
Blue Gray Gnatcatcher   7 total   5 in one group 
Goldfinch
