My wife Jane and I saw 5 Mississippi Kites from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. on
Tuesday 8/18. 4 adults and 1 immature. All were in view at the same time.
There was another possible immature bird. We also had a Kevin Graff
sighting.

Below is a paste of the previously supplied directions from Rob Hilton.

To reach the area where he is, exit south from the Capital Beltway onto
Indian Head Highway (MD Route 210 South), the go approximately 9.2 miles.
After you pass Farmington Road, you will take a right at the next stop light
onto Livingston Road (look for B&J Carryout). Drive one block and turn right
on Biddle Road. At the stop sign, turn left on Bryan Point Road. Proceed on
this road to the Accokeek Creek parking area (on your right). Go to the
boardwalk, walk on it to its end. The birds have been soaring over the
field at the end of the boardwalk near the southern end of the field. (So
the lighting may or may not be the best).
