Folks

I just put up some of my recent images from my big photo year. Go to www.georgejett.net and click on Recent Images, or ask google to look for http://gallery.georgejett.com/main.php?g2_itemId=1229. I am new at this so I hope this works. Take a tour of the rest of the site but please understand it is being built and will be a living document.

The Bridled Tern, Audubon's Shearwater, and Red-necked Phalarope are from the Saturday, August 16 Paulagics trip. The likely hybrid Black-headed X Ring-billed Gull is from Trueman's Landing, P.G. County on August 17, and the Mississippi Kite is from the Piscataway region of P.G. County today. The immature Cooper's Hawk was hiding from Blue Jays in my backyard on August 13.

I will be building this website as time permits. I am doing a big photo year as a fund raising event for the American Bird Conservancy. I am hoping to photograph 300 species in 2008. I am currently at 280 species and hope to make my target. I will upload Red Knot and Hudsonian Godwit when I return from the coast on Sunday, and anything else that I find along the way.

Enjoy and thanks for taking a look.
