Went out to look over some of my favorite sparrow spots to assess habitat.
4 species of sparrows for the day 2 GRASSHOPPER, SONGS, FIELDS and CHIPPING.

4 BOBOLINKS were my first for the fall, 2 MEADOWLARKS, HORNED LARKS and BLUE GROSBEAK among the usual field delights.

225 GOLDFINCH (175 in one flock alone) were the most that I have ever seen at once.

1 CHAT for the warblers besides yellowthroats.
