The Kent County Bird Club will head to Bombay Hook NWR, Delaware on
Saturday, 30 August to spend the day looking for shorebirds, herons and
early fall migrants. Nancy and I will meet participants at the Dollar
General parking lot in Chestertown across from the end of Spring St.
(and between Maple St - MD-213 and Philosopher's Terrace) at 8:00 AM.
The long-range forecast for Saturday includes a chance of showers, so
participants should consider bringing along rain gear as well as lunch.
Shorebird migration is at peak and songbird migration is heating up, so
bird numbers and variety should be excellent. Anyone who wishes to meet
us at Bombay Hook should call us at the number listed below.
