I have the good fortune to be using one of those freebie email accounts
(which is NOT actually my ISP; I access the freebie via my existing broad-band
service), but I have a thought for those using the troubled ISP email accounts:

As I understand it, the problem is that these ISP-provided email accounts
are "bouncing" emails which are being "broadcast" to multiple recipients.
A local Baltimore Bird Club member is getting similar "bounces" when
trying to notify multiple Club members about schedule changes.
As far as MDOsprey - I personally did at one time get MDOsprey email messages
for all postings, but I've switched some time ago to just reading them off the
listserv website (http://home.ease.lsoft.com/archives/mdosprey.html)
and use my existing MDOsprey account just to post messages as needed.
This reduces clutter of accumulating email messages (I still have too many of
them waiting to get cleared) and neatly side-steps the growing "casualties"
problem people are having in accessing MDOsprey posting for their birding news.

Until the existing problem with comcast and others is resolved, I recommend
going to the website (I have it listed with my "favorites" to check daily) to read
the most recent postings. You might find as I have that this is a better way
to do it anyhow, "casualties" or not.
