Saw a White-winged Scoter at Triadelphia Reservoir late this afternoon.  It was in the middle of the reservoir in the area where the island is emerging.  Thought it was going to fly when a fisherman in a boat came close to it but the scoter didn't seem to be concerned about the boat going by.  Managed to get a few lousy digascope pictures if anyone wanted to see them;  my camera really can't handle shots when there is a lot of glare on the water.
