CALENDAR ALERT!!
A fall work weekend has been scheduled at Irish Grove, the MOS sanctuary in Somerset County, for November 1 and 2. Dotty Mumford is heading up the effort and says that the focus will be on much-needed trail work. Even if you can only come for part of a day, your help would be very much appreciated! Dotty will be there a few days prior to the weekend, so you are welcome then, too.

Irish Grove is a 1600 acre gem, mostly marsh land, but with about 10 acres of fields, situated along the "famous" Rumbly Point Road. There are several trails and canoe access. The house is in good shape for its age and has overnight accommodations. Short-eared Owls are possible at this time of year and Chincoteague is not far from the sanctuary. More information, a bird checklist, and directions are available from the MOS website, www.mdbirds.org.

Let Dotty know if you can come.
