I've uploaded some photos of the Black-headed Gull from Eagle Harbor. Jane Kostenko took many of the photos. If she's not noted as the photographer, then I'm the culprit. You'll note that the photo quality isn't quite up to Jett or Hubick standards ;) There are a couple of photos where I took the 100-300mm lens and held it up to the eyepiece of our Leica scope (Jane's suggestion) and the results were surprisingly good. Of course, I didn't realize how filthy the eyepiece was until we looked at the photos at home! Anyway, it was a relatively easy digiscoping experience.
There are several photos where the hybrid gull is standing on a piiling and the BHGU flies over and the two interact. Very interesting! Almost like a paternal/maternal interaction.
