Folks

After a return trip to photograph the Red-necked Phalarope at North Beach, Gwen and I took a spin over to Trueman's Landing and she immediately found the Black-headed Gull on a piling close to shore. I took some quick snaps and the bird flew away. I will post the images later this weekend on my website www.georgejett.com. The Black-headed Gull is number 286 species photographed in 2008. Fourteen more to go this year.

Thanks to Kevin Graff for the timely call that resulted in the return trip to the marsh for the spinning black and white spud in the water..

George
