Coming from the north, down Rt. 2, when you get to the traffic circle at Friendship, go around the circle 270 degrees then get off onto Friendship Rd. If you miss this, the next major interchange will be the traffic light at the Calvert/Anne Arundel line at Rt. 260. Follow this road until you drop down and can see the Bay on the left. The road will bend to the left and you'll see the marina of Herrington Harbor on the left. When the road bends to the right, there  is a brick gate straight in front. If you go through there then turn left, you'll see the jetty where the Ruddy Turnstone was seen on Friday. Continue back on Friendship Rd. through a speed zone (30 mph). When you leave the housing area, you'll see a sign for the Calvert/Anne Arundel County line. Turn left almost immediately into a sandy parking pullout. Pull all the way in so others can still get in. The marsh will be directly opposite the pullout. If you look to the far left, toward North
Beach proper, that's where the phalarope has been most consistently. Be aware that there is no safe place to stand on the shoulder and when you do step off, there's poison ivy everywhere.

I think I know what is referred to as this location for the
Red-necked Phalarope, but would like to be sure before chasing tomorrow.
Appreciate someone posting directions.  Thanks,
