Hey everyone-
I birded Fort McHenry this morning, thinking that it couldn't hurt to see if Hanna had blown anything in. There were no pelagic birds of interest, but I did find a brilliant male CAPE MAY WARBLER socializing with a Blackpoll Warbler and Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher in a small stand of about 5 pine trees. I watched the bird from 11:10 to 11:50, and it was still in the same spot when I left.
Directions: Upon entering through the park's gate, look immediately to your right and you will see one large deciduous tree and then a small stand of pine trees past it. The bird was in these pines.
Good luck for anyone who goes after it! I will post pictures soon.
