I saw the Common Black-headed Gull at the end of Trueman Point Road
today some time between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. It was on the very distant
"block-net" pilings. I was able to zero in on the bird because of its
smaller size compared to a nearby Ring-billed Gull and was then able to
discern the reddish legs. I didn't bother trying to get a photo.
I also had a nice looking male Cape May Warbler at Dan's Rock early this
morning.
