This morning from about 6:35-9:10, Ray Kiddy, Barb and George Gaffney, J.B.
Churchill and myself found a flurry of fall migrants at Finzel Swamp. We
tallied 10 species of warblers, including excellent looks at several
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, CAPE MAY, and MAGNOLIA WARBLERS. Other highlights
included a YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER and a flyover PURPLE FINCH.

After leaving Finzel, Ray, Barb, George and myself checked out the North
Branch tarps for any new or remaining shorebirds from recent weather events
(or lack thereof out here). We also found 10 species of shorebirds with the
highlights including a single remaining RUDDY TURNSTONE and one STILT
SANDPIPER. Complete lists follow:
