I observed an early Brown (Western) Palm Warbler in the early afternoon at Sandy Pt. It was actively foraging in saplings, bushes and the lawn near one of the bathhouses near the beach. This is the bathhouse located at 10:00 if you are facing the beach/Bay Bridge at the end of the park road. The woods and edges in the park held a few other migrant songbirds.

I struck out on Hanna birds but it was nice to meet so many other birders who were out looking for them.
