A follow-up visit to the Susquehanna Flats at low
tide today (12:30) yielded, for the most part,
similar numbers of gulls and terns as yesterday
with the exception of zero black terns. Nice
additions were White-rumped Sandpiper and Short-
billed Dowitcher on the Tydings Cove sandbar. A
couple of other Harford sites held (relatively
speaking) good numbers of Egrets.

Great Blue Heron - 25
Great Egret - 1
Bald Eagle - 6
White-rumped Sandpiper - 2

Herring Gull ~ 50

Forster's Tern ~ 150

-Route 40 pulloff overlooking Otter Pt. Creek-

Cheers,

Dave
