In past years there has been a field of sunflowers along Sycamore Landing 
Road.   It was planted for the benefit of dove hunters, as near as I can tell, 
but was also a boon to Goldfinches.   Could anybody who has been down that road 
recently tell me if there are sunflowers this year and, if so, are they in 
full bloom?   I'm housebound with plumbers and painters right now.   Thanks.
