Actually, Hanna's track and strength as of this morning isn't too far
off from Ernesto in 2006.  Biggest difference is that Hanna will be over
water more than Ernesto before making landfall in the Carolinas, which
could be even better.  Ernesto was a boon for area birders - DC's first
Long-tailed Jaeger, multiple Sooty Terns at various points along the
Potomac, etc.  So it's definitely got my attention.

And it may mean that my ANS field trip to Rock Creek Park will be
relocated to Hains Point.  I'll post here if this comes to pass.
