Things were perkier than I expected late this morning and early this afternoon at the Ladew Gardens Nature Walk area. Lots of empid activity but unfortunately none were singing--phoebe and peewee as well. I'm sure there were more warbler species than I was able to pin down--got some nice ones (9): CANADA, Chestunut-Sided, Magnolia, Black-and-White, Black-Throated Green, BLACKBURNIAN, C. Yelowthroat, Redstart, and Blackpoll (not 100% sure). I think 2-3 other speicies "got away." Only one vireo species--red-eyed--but lots of them. Not one sparrow.
