A more detailed posting on the birds seen at OC Inlet would be greatly
appreciated (stationarity of SOTE, BRTE, Jaegers, etc.) as I consider
being there at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning. I tried Fort Smallwood
briefly during heavy rain this afternoon with minimal visibility, but the
most exciting birds seen were a Least Tern and 5+ Caspian Terns. Of
course, the weather started clearing up on my drive home.... Cape May, NJ
had a slow morning but reported Sooty Terns as well this afternoon.
