I left the house around 5 PM to see what birds might be at the sand pits. It
was a good choice because these are the birds I saw.
4 Sooty Terns ( 3 Juvenile and 1 Adult) Lifer!
3 Black Terns
1 Arctic Tern
2 unidentified Shearwaters
1 Red necked Phalarope
2 Pied pilled Grebes
20+ Bank Swallows
150+ Bobolinks
500 Canada Geese
30 Mallards
6 Bald Eagles
1 Coopers Hawk
7+ Solitary Sandpipers
5 Black bellied Plovers
All the birds except the Shearwaters where feeding and where still there
when I left.
Thanks Tropical Storm Hanna for bringing us some great birds.
