Ruth Bergstrom led a very enjoyable and nicely productive trip (for Chesapeake Aud) to the varied and beautiful Harford Glen this morning. For the most part, there wasn't a ton of activity, but we got a nice variety of birds (around 50 species) in any case, spread out over a period of time. Later in the trip, around noon, we ran into a nice pocket of warblers (over which a bald eagle flew).
Warblers: tennessee, black-and-white, magnolia, parula, black-throated blue, black-throated green, redstart, c yellowthroat, pine.
Some other birds we enjoyed: bald eagle, pheasant, hairy wood, pileated, wood duck, kingfisher, green heron, great egret, bw teal, swamp sparrow, red-shouldered hawk, cooper's hawk.
