Six people braved the humidity and heat for the regular Sunday morning 
walk at Cylburn Arboretum (North Baltimore) this morning. We limited 
our birding to areas around the mansion and the gazebo. Despite the 
stagnant weather we managed to see one or two each of the following 
warblers:
Blue-winged Warbler 1 (good views)
Magnolia Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart

 A little hawk action:
Osprey 4 (3 heading south)
Broad-winged Hawk 4 (heading south, fairly low)
Red-tailed Hawk 1
Peregrine Falcon 1 (local?)
(some of these were seen by Keith and me after the others left)

 Other highlights:
Yellow-billed Cuckoo  1 (Keith and I)
Baltimore Oriole 2
Chimney Swifts 50+, many flying quite low
Tree Swallow 3+
Eastern Wood-Pewee ~5
Red-eyed Vireo ~10
Blue Jay ~10
and,
Carolina Parakeet 1,  a fine specimen!
(Thanks to Joy Wheeler, who came along as Keith and I were leaving and 
showed us around the new bird museum in the carriage house. This was 
the first time I have been in there except for a preview before the 
painting and labeling was completed. It all looks excellent.)
