This morning my wife Colleen and I headed to Finzel Swamp for some pre-work
birding. Soon after we arrived, we were joined by J.B. Churchill. We managed
10 warbler species included new for the fall PALM WARBLERS in good numbers.
There were probably more than the 7 that I estimated. Also, we were able to
find at least one LINCOLN'S SPARROW (another first of fall) which gave us
excellent looks in the early morning light! Complete list follows:
