Highlights of a morning stroll along the Kingsley Trail:

A large COOPER'S HAWK bombing across the trail

MAGNOLIA, HOODED, PINE, PARULA, BLACKBURNIAN, BLACK-AND-WHITE, CHESTNUT-SIDED warblers - a particularly good look at the Hooded, a beautiful adult male.

RED-EYED and YELLOW-THROATED VIREOS.

ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKS - heard at least 3 or 4.

WOOD and SWAINSON'S THRUSHES, VEERY

YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER, plus a good look at a young EASTERN PHOEBE choking down a large dragonfly
