A lunchtime walk around Constitution Gardens and the DC Veteran's
Memorial produced the following highlights:

Constitution Gardens
Great Egret at the pond
Several Eastern Phoebes
Several Magnolia Warblers
A Common Yellowthroat
A few Yellow-rumped Warblers (including one in juvenile plumage -
another late nest?)
A Blackpoll Warbler
Lots of American Robins
A Veery

DC Veteran's Memorial
A few Bluejays
A Red-tailed Hawk leaving just as I showed up (perhaps accounting for
the paucity of action there).
