Cromwell Valley Park HawkWatch  Saturday, 9/20/08

After Friday morning's huge movement of Broad-winged Hawks,  Saturday brought a disappointing flight  of migrant raptors.  It was the same at most of the watch-sites to our north, with much lower numbers reported.  I think the bulk of the BW flight is pretty much over, although the next good cold front could still bring some high numbers.

Thanks to all who carefully scanned the sky and enjoyed the local raptors as they entertained us!!
