My friend Connie and I arrived a little late at Rock Creek Park this morning. We didn't see a whole lot and we missed a lot of the birds reported by Mr. Kornack in his earlier post. But we did see some species that they did not find. We birded picnic area 17/18, the Maintenance Yard and the Stables. For comparitive purposes, here are the migrants that we found:

E.w. Pewee, 3+
E. Phoebe, 2+
Philadelphia Vireo, 1. (One of our target birds and until today it was my nemesis bird! Found at picnic area 17/18. Bird was strongly washed w/ yellow below.)
B. Jay, 43+/-
House Wren, 3
Am. Robin, 17+
Ch.-sided Warbler, 1m
B&W Warbler, 4
Ovenbird, 1
Com. Yellowthroat, 2

Good birding to you,
