Greetings,

For only the second time in 24 years of birdwatching in my backyard, I
had a male Eastern Towee visit my feeder 3 times (Sept 28). My best
view was at the same time the turquoise blue parakeet was feeding.

We have a bird cage hanging next to the feeder in hopes of capturing the
parakeet. So far only one of black Canadian squirrels uses the top of
it for sun bathing. A sparrow did land on the perch and peek inside but
didn't go in. The best part of having the cage there is that the Sharp
Shinned Hawk has not returned to the feeder.
