 Hi all --

The most interesting "addendum" to Wallace's list were two White-throated Sparrows, first of the autumn for us. We also saw some more Phoebes and Yellowthroats, a lot of Catbirds still around, & one Thrasher.

Also, the number of B&W Warblers at the Ridge and Equitation Field area was closer to 8.

The behavior of the birds at the Ridge was very interesting, when we arrived it was still foggy but starting to clear and the sun just breaking through. As soon as the fog lifted, birds started to drop in (we were by then down the hill at the Equitation Field), several rapidly moving small groups of migrants flew out of the dark tall trees to forage along the sunny edge. When this slowed we moved up to picnic area 17/18 where birds continued to be active for some time, with small groups moving through (N to S).

The Peregrine flew over low and "escorted" by a small flock of annoyed swifts!
