For those of you who keep a life list of birds seen on TV (I do not), I hope 
that you saw last night's episode of the Simpsons.  A Scarlet Tanager played 
a lead role in the plot (as much as any Simpsons' episode has a plot) and 
the drawing of the bird was even fairly accurate.  At least I could tell it 
was a Scarlet Tanager and so could Lisa.
