Yesterday AM, to our amazement, an imm RED-HEADED WOODPECKER visited our
yard's woodpecker snag. This was almost certainly a migrant, since we
are far from any known breeding population. He lingered in the vicinity
for several hours.

In other news, the Huntingtown WMA (aka "Smoky Rd site") yielded many Br
Thrashers, Catbirds, and Chipping Sparrows, but no migrants.
