Paul Baicich and I had the extralimital White-Cheeked Pintail at the pond outside of Charles Town, W Va about 12:30 today. If any one here's any more about the likely origins of this bird, please advise!

An earlier visit to Greenbury Point, Annapolis, AA County, turned up little of note, except for fall, female plumaged Magnolia Warbler; loads of Catbirds in migration; and numerous Northern Flickers moving about.

Pictures of the Pintail will be on www.birdcouple.com this evening.
