I have been spending a lot of time at the Fort Washington Park in the last
week. Mostly I have been trying to see why there are almost no MDOSPREY
reports from that area. Previously, I thought that there were almost no
birds out there. Well, I now think that I have been wrong. In the past
five days, I have photographed the following:

Magnolia Warbler, Black-throated Blue Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler,
Northern Parula, Black and White Warbler, Red-eyed Vireo, Swainson's Thrush,
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Bluebird pair.

I am sure that I have missed a bunch of migrating species. There are also
the usual bunch of locals hanging around.

I will have some shots up on my web site in the next few days. The site
address is: www.woodduck.smugmug.com <http://www.woodduck.smugmug.com/> .

BTW, as of this morning, I still have three R/T Hummingbirds coming to my
feeders. Also, there are no fees being charged at the gate this time of
year.
