There was one adult and, what I believe were, two first-winter white-crowned sparrows on the north side of the peninsula at Lake Artemisia today. In the same general area were 3-4 savannahs.

There were lots of palm warblers and yellow rumps flying around, several common yellowthroats, and one black-throated green. Both kinglets were present.

Not much on the water yet. There were two pied billed grebes and one d.c. cormorant. No ruddies or coots yet and two ring-necked ducks present Monday weren't there today.

Along the creek, I saw my first yellow bellied sapsucker of the fall fluttering around like a flycatcher. Something I hadn't seen before.
