An adult PEREGRINE spent most of Saturday (Oct. 11) perched up on a ledge
~12 stories high in the (northern) west side of the tall brick apartment
building just north of the Halstead at Guilford (3900 N. Charles St.)
where I live. The bird is back at the same spot as of 9am today. Best
viewing spots are from W Highfield Rd or from the alley (by the basketball
hoop) behind these apartment buildings. Also, I think I got a glimpse of a
male BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER working the line of trees in the alley
yesterday.

October 10th, there were still hundreds of CHIMNEY SWIFTS entering the
Northway Apartment building chimneys at the Corner of University and N.
Charles.
