My husband Tom was birding Kinder Farm Park in AA County today and believes he saw an unusual bird. Upon studying the field guides after his sighting, he believes that this bird may be a female Black-Throated Gray warbler. I want to emphasize that we are not experts, but Tom does have a good eye. He describes the bird as being about the same size as a black and white warbler. He said it was dark on top with a white throat, black stripes on its breast. He said the white was very white and that the thing that caught is eye the most was a spot of very bright yellow in the lore area behind the beak. The bird was in some bushes and brush about 3 feet off the ground. It was around 12:30 this afternoon. Please feel free to email Tom at if you want to know the approximate area he saw this bird or if you want him to show you where he saw it. I apologize for typing this for him, but he does not like to type!

Best wishes,
