Hi all,

After sleeping in to a glorious 10:30am I decided to hit some waterfowl
spots on the midshore. There was not much activity but a few notables were
seen.

Cackling Goose -- 2 -- Easton (new yard bird) flying over my house in a
goose flock
Snow Geese -- 150 -- Hurlock WWTP
Green-winged Teal -- 38 -- Hurlock WWTP, 120 Higgin's Mill Pond, Linkwood
Northern Pintail -- 8 -- Hurlock WWTP
Northern Shoveler -- 62 -- Hurlock WWTP
Lesser Scaup -- 1 -- Rt 309 pond (west)
Ring-neck Ducks -- 2 -- Denton WWTP, 22 Hurlock WWTP
Ruddy Ducks -- 400 -- Hurlock WWTP
Little Blue Heron (imm) -- 1 -- Higgin's Mill Pond, Linkwood
Greater Yellowlegs -- 1 -- Hurlock WWTP
Wilson's Snipe -- 1 -- Rt 213/Rt 50 Pond

The Canvasback flock hasn't trickled in yet at the end of Oakley St. in
Cambridge. No diving ducks were seen on the Choptank River.

On a lighter note. My cousin who lives in Corpus Christie, Texas called in
the afternoon to give me a heads up that a large flock of Roseate Spoonbills
had flown over his house heading in our direction. He told me to keep my
eyes open :)
