Hi All,

Beginning this week we have had a number of Juncos feeding in our yard, and one has been puzzling me. I think it is just a juevenile Dark Eyed Junco (Slate Colored.) The bird in question has all the coloring of the "Slate Colored" but has a little more brown than normal on it's back, and we have noticed that it has an eye ring? Does anyone know if that is normal for jueveniles? Just curious -
