This morning I was out 5:30-6am hanging out my bird feeders. In the distance I could hear two Owls calling to each other. About a half hour later I was standing on my deck, in the woods next to my house there were crows were really making a lot of noise and then I heard the owl it sounded like it was in one of the larger trees in my yard. I could still hear another one in the distance. I stood on my deck listening until both the owls sounded like they moved off further into the reservoir woods. 
It was so cool to hear them so loud and so close to me.

Listening to my birdpod back in my house the owl sounded more like the Great Horned Owl than the Barred Owl I am use to hearing around here.
