At noon today I glanced out of my front window and had a Wood Thrush perched 
in the Elderberry bushes, about 10 feet away.  It sat there for 3 or 4 
minutes and then dropped down to grab a caterpillar from the ground.  After 
another minute or so it flew off.  Seems late for a Wood Thrush.
