I offer thanks to the 5 members of the Maryland Ornithological Society that
showed up for Tuesday night's public meeting at Chesapeake High School. The
quick recap is that there were more members from the audience that presented
comments wanting Hart-Miller Island developed into a public recreational
facility rather than into wildlife habitat.
The Wednesday night public meeting at Sparrows Point High School will be the
same presentation as the previous night.
