Today was a good day both in my yard and at the Hemlock Gorge area of Prettyboy.
For starters I was happy to see two female Purple Finches at my feeders. I hope they stay around for the Feederwatch coming up soon.
And second was a Winter Wren at the Hemlock Gorge. I've been wrong before so maybe I should ask for confirmation on the Wren. But I have the Carolina Wren at my feeders and the House Wren just seems bigger to me.
