Attention Maryland and D.C. birders:

Notices recently went out to Presidents of all MOS Chapters and some 
other regional bird clubs, inviting them to submit nominations for 
the forthcoming Chandler and Eleanor Robbins MD/DC Birding Trail.

If you would like to help nominate excellent birding sites in your 
county (or in "the District"), you should contact your local MOS 
Chapter or bird club President -- we are not accepting nominations 
from individual birders, only from Presidents of clubs covering all 
23 Maryland counties and the District of Columbia.

If you don't already know the identity and/or e-mail address of the 
relevant President in your area, please e-mail me off-line and I will 
be happy to send you the information. To read about the criteria by 
which the nominations will be judged, please see the short article on 
page 15 of the September/October issue of The Yellowthroat or ask me 
to send you a copy of it.

Please don't delay if you want to be involved -- the deadline date 
for receipt of nominations is November 30.
